Founded by Farukh Khan, whose musical roots trace back to the illustrious Sikar Gharana, Jaipur Beats is a testament to the rich cultural tapestry of Rajasthan. Farukh Khan, the lead singer and Sarangi player, draws inspiration from his father, the legendary Ustad Ramzan Khan Sahab, a luminary in the Indian music scene.

Created in 2008, Jaipur Beat’s mission is to respect the musical sufi tradition by bringing it accessible to the new generation. For Jaipur Beat’s, every new sound becomes an inspiration to create a fusion of genres, where every music is possible. On stage, a mix of indian instruments (sarangi, tablas, kartales,bhapang, sitar) are played with western ones (keyboard, saxophone, bass and electric guitare). This new style of music made them famous around India: by their participation as finalists at the popular show India gots talent (2010) or as contestant in 2017 at the Din hai hindustani show presented by Star plus chanel.Jaipur Beat’s is directed by Farukh Khan, lead singer and sarangi player of the group. Farukh comes from a lineage of well-known musicians, dedicated to classical music for the last seven generations. He learned his musical knowledge from his father and guru Ustad Ramzan Khan Sahab, one of the most famous sarangi player in India.
